LWJ: No Taliban-Al Qaeda Split
Bill Roggio of The Long War Journal reports that their is no Taliban Al-Qaeda split. That the CNN report earlier this week is incorrect. According to CNN, Senior Taliban leader Mullar Omar had cut ties with bin Laden and Al Qaeda.

Pirates Release Iranian Ship Alleged to Contain WMD
After seven weeks of negotiations, Somali pirates have released the Iranian ship MV Iran Deyanat and its 29 person crew. The pirates claim the ship contained deadly chemicals, possibly WMD.

CNN: Taliban and Al Qaeda Split
CNN's sources say that the Taliban is breaking with Al Qaeda (in Afghanistan) and that long-time nemesis Saudi Arabia is overseeing the talks.

Pirates Stage Four More Attacks in 24 Hours

Glasgow Airport Jihad Doctors Go on Trial
The trial for two of England's jihad doctors — Mohammed Jamil Asha, 28, and Iraqi Bilal Abdullah, 29, — began yesterday in the UK. The two, National Health System doctors are accused of several terrorist crimes including conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to cause explosions between January 1, 2006, and July 1, 2007.
