This morning, Saudi secret police announced that they've broken apart a massive terror plot and arrested 172 jihadists. Saudi Arabia is a totalitarian regime and none of the information that comes out of Saudi Arabia can be verified by anyone who is not part of that regime. Here are some of the "facts" so far, according to The Interior Ministry of Saudi Arabia — an organization that prides itself on its ability to solve 100% of the crimes committed inside the Kingdom.  

  • There were plans to crash jetliners into oil facilities using suicide pilots who were trained abroad.  
  • There were plans to attack military targets (inside and outside the Kingdom), to assassinate public figures, and to spring jihadists from prison.
  • The group of cells amassed $32 million dollars and a considerable weapons cache.
  • The arrests have been taking place over the past 9 months.
