9/11 Lawsuit, SSI and CYA

For those unfamiliar with what SSI stands for, it’s a Federal Government acronym for Sensitive Security Information. You will be hearing a lot about SSI at TheAviationNation.com; many of our aviation security colleagues believe that SSI — and its unbridled use by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials — more aptly stands for CYA.

German Terror Cell Approached Airport Workers

German authorities continue to investigate a foiled terror-plot involving the Frankfurt airport, an Israeli airplane and a suitcase bomb. A terror cell of six, German-jihadists attempted to bribe an airport worker into smuggling a bomb onto a plane. From the AP:
